As part of our @kyub.digital project IKLECTIK and The Institute of Sound (Ukraine) present: MUSIC & ACTIVISM. (Zoom panel discussion) We see raising public awareness about the urgent issues of the Ukrainian music community and increasing engagement internationally among the most important goals of the KYUB initiative. At the residency, we seek answers for questions revolving around our participants’ first hand experiences and challenges brought by the new wartime reality. And to fulfil our mission within the project’s framework, we intend to carry out two panel discussions between our residents, invited speakers and the wider audience interested in the issues under consideration. At these two meetings, we will focus on the topic of music as a tool for making change.
